2. Domain Registration
These terms apply to all domain registrations completed through Hosteran.
- Domain registration is processed after payment confirmation.
- Domains remain the property of the Client once full payment has been received.
- All domain fees are non-refundable after submission to the registry.
- Renewal reminders are sent 30 and 7 days before expiry. Failure to renew may result in suspension or deletion.
- The Client must provide accurate WHOIS information and keep it up to date.
- Domains must not infringe on any trademark, copyright, or intellectual property rights.
3. Web Hosting
By purchasing hosting, the Client agrees that services are provided as described on the Hosteran website and within the limits of the chosen plan.
Usage and Resources
- Each plan includes specific disk space, bandwidth, and resource limits.
- Hosting space is intended exclusively for website files and related emails.
- Storing backups, archives, or unrelated files is not permitted.
Backups
- Hosteran performs automated backups on a best-effort basis.
- Clients are responsible for maintaining their own local backups.
- Data may be deleted after account termination or non-payment.
Prohibited Use
- Hosting must not be used for illegal, abusive, or unethical activities (spam, phishing, malware, etc.).
- Websites with adult content, copyrighted distribution, or security exploits are not allowed.
- Hosteran reserves the right to suspend any account violating these rules.
4. SSL Certificates
SSL Certificates are provided via trusted Certificate Authorities (e.g., Let’s Encrypt, Sectigo, DigiCert). By ordering an SSL, you also agree to the provider’s terms.
- Certificates are valid for the period chosen at purchase (usually 1 year).
- Re-issuance or renewal may require verification steps.
- Refunds are not available after activation.
- It is the Client’s responsibility to renew certificates before expiry.
5. Technical Support
Hosteran provides technical support for active clients during business hours via email or ticket system.
- Support may include assistance with configuration, DNS, SSL, or hosting-related issues.
- Remote access may be requested for troubleshooting purposes only.
- Hosteran is not responsible for data loss or downtime during support operations.
6. Pricing & Payments
- All prices are in Euro (EUR) and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise.
- Hosteran may update prices periodically to reflect operational or licensing costs.
- A 30-day money-back guarantee applies only to shared hosting plans. Domain and SSL purchases are non-refundable.
- Renewal fees must be paid before the expiry date to ensure uninterrupted service.
7. Termination
By the Client:
- You may cancel services anytime by submitting a written request via email or support ticket.
- All outstanding payments must be cleared before cancellation takes effect.
- Non-renewal will result in service suspension and deletion after the grace period.
By Hosteran:
- Hosteran reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for non-payment, abuse, or security risks.
- Illegal activity or repeated violations will result in immediate termination without refund.
8. Limitation of Liability
- All services are provided “as-is” without warranty of uninterrupted availability.
- Hosteran is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses such as data loss or downtime.
- In any case, total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client in the preceding 12 months.
9. Force Majeure
Hosteran shall not be held liable for delays or service interruptions caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, cyberattacks, power failures, or regulatory changes.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
